The Argentinian government has extended the mandatory quarantine. It will now be in effect until April 26th 2020.

In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, a number of restrictions have been implemented.

Citizens of the city and province of Buenos Aires as well as some other provinces are required to wear masks.

People are only allowed to leave their homes in order to buy medicine or to purchase supplies.

Universities and school classes should remain suspended, although under certain conditions limited activities could be allowed.

The Argentinian boarders will remain closed indefinitely, and foreign nationals are not allowed to enter. Argentinian nationals are allowed to enter the country,

although there are also entry restrictions for air travel.
Argentina’s immigration offices were closed, and it is possible that the mandatory quarantine will be extended again.
